Collaboration - to come together to make something / Taking art out of art places

Art has to challenge perceptions including the perception of what art is - and who artist are. Is it something that comes out of specialist institutions/ controlled and policed by gate keepers. Is being an artists about following conventions or is about subverting and seeding change ? Does art sometimes manifest as something outside of the art world? Is it art to put a canopy in the woods? To be an activists for something hands on and forfilling. Can a social enterprise be an art form?
